Miss India Fiji is a pageant designed to showcase all of the above and more. Miss India Fiji Pageant embraces both Fijian and Indian cultures to showcase the best in the modern Indo-Fijian woman.

The winner of the Miss India Fiji Pageant will get tremendous media exposure and an opportunity of a lifetime to represent Fiji in the internationally established Miss India Worldwide Pageant.

Who can participate?

    * Any woman of Indo-Fijian origin between the ages of 17 and 27 (Citizen, Permanent Resident or born in Fiji)
    * The applicant is a natural born female
    * The applicant is not / has not been married, and has never had a marriage or never given birth to a child; is not now pregnant nor a parent. If any of these conditions change, the applicant is to notify us immediately
    * You must have a talent such as but not limited to … dance, sing, act, recital etc. This needs to be explained in detail and demonstrated at the auditions.
    * You will be required to attend training/grooming sessions
    * Ability to acquire a Visa and travel to the next Miss India Worldwide Pageant to be held in Suriname in February 2012 if selected as a winner.
    * Indo-Fijian girls from all over the world can participate in the pageant.

Crowned Miss World Japan 2012 Nozomi Igarashi

Nozomi Igarashi has just been crowned Miss World Japan 2012. Nozomi Igarashi from Yamagata is 24 year old and stands 1.76m. She will represent Japan in Miss World 2012in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18.

She was one of the Top Four finalists of Miss International Japan 2012 held in Tokyo on November 20. Ikumi Yoshimatsu was the winner of the pageant. The announcement was made by the International Culture Association, license holders of Miss World in Japan.

According to the Miss America Organization, Amway awarded a $50,000 scholarship to Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler, and more than $300,000 to the other Miss America contestants on January 14, 2012, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The Amway scholarships help empower American women to achieve their personal and professional goals. With her scholarship, Kaeppeler plans to pursue a family law degree. Prior to the pageant, Kaeppeler earned an undergraduate degree in music and vocal performance at Carthage College.

Feels simply awesome, I did wish & hope to win this golden chance, but when it actually came true, it was truly unbelievable.

It's honestly one of my biggest aims in life. I feel its going to give me a sense of achievement and I truly belief in myself.

His voice and his intelligence. The way he treats women makes him more attractive.

No intent of joining Bollywood yet, I will concentrate on modelling for now.
